As the title said they are now done. The bottom SP unit I just finished. They are all drawn scale to each other. All measurements were double and tripple checked. The SF 4-8-4 (with long tender) and Pennsy T1 were each about 121 feet long and the cab forward is about 124. The DM&IR Yellowstone, I am currently working on is about 127 feet. So, it will be longest of the group so far.

I got some good side shots of the UK Beyer-Garrat and it will be coming up after the DM&IR. I was a bit surprised at its length considering it is a 4-8-4-4-8-4. It will be the shortest so far. Tiny dirvers I guess.

Enjoy, again sorry about the copyright stuff, but you know how it goes.

Those are outstanding. How much are you going to ask for copies? I WANT that one of 2926. :teeth:

Thank you, I am glad you like them! I am really enjoying doing these new ones. Lots of eyestrain headaches but well worth it.

Most of the money for the 2926 print is going directly to the group restoring it. The pre-release price is going to be $23.00+s/h. This is the price the group agreed upon to start with. In September, after we get a bulk of the prints in hand from the printers, the price will go up to $35.00 each+s/h. We are hoping to sell the series out by time they have their open house in October. That will really help with some of their expenses.

I'll second the fawning praise. Those look fantastic, and would really look good in my train room. Where's the preorder link? :)

    Thank you!

As of now I do not have a preorder link ready. I want to get the first proof in hand before we go down that road to be sure they come out the way I want them to. That should be in about 1-2 weeks. Once that is done I will get a page put up on my website that will feature them all, individually, and you can go from there. There will be order forms and Paypal links. The 2926 group will be putting a page up on their site as well.

There will be framed and unframed options for all of them and all prints will be signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity.

For now, if your interested, just drop me a line and I will contact you when they are ready and have a better shot of them all to see.

Thank you again for the interest!

WOW! I thought the Cab Forward had a lot of details. The DM&IR Yellowstone blew that theory. I have been sketching this thing for 3 days now and just finished that stage and am just now going to start doing the shading. Unfortunatly the Beyer-Garrat looks just as complex. I am going to have to take a break from articulateds after that one and go back to regular wheel base type loco's.

    Hmmmm......
Dug out some old shots today I took of the Freedom Train when it went through NM when I was young. I might have to do a pair of side views, one with the Freedom paint job and one in regular Daylight livery. Both in full color of course or it would be a waste.
