After some fairly extensive online research, Im having a hard time trying to determine what else (if anything) was used to handle freight traffic throughout the streets in Fells Point in Baltimore for the B&O. As far as I can determine, from about the turn of the century and forward to 1940 or so, traffic was handled exclusively by the small #4 and #10 electrified "trolleys." I have not come across anything that suggests steam power was ever used (i.e. 0-4-0's) in this area and I cant imagine any other electric locomotives were used (due to larger wheel bases on the tight curves). Does anyone know any differently? Or direct me toward a helpful reference? Yes, I know the Pennsy had some unique pieces in operation in this area... but Im specifically trying to find out about B&O operations. Thanks!
