I have a Life-Like Alco FA-2 2002 release. It accepts MT 1015 couplers. I do not see a platform of any sort to attach the couplers to. Anyone have suggestions?

If I remember correctly the FAs had a clip behind the pilot that held the coupler in place and the MT 1015 is the correct coupler for the front.

Don't have any FA2's but the FA1's had a "U" shaped clip with a center post that secured the coupler. I think it had them both front and rear. Like a lot of other people, I replaced the rear coupler with a Unimate dummy coupler to provide closer coupling between the A&B units. A units got a MT 1015. That "U"shaped clip can be found on Atlas units also (at least all of the ones I have).
