6 Red Barns on the Expressway service obviously times are changing, as 5742 is no where near where it was to be assigned, 42 and 45 are the Expressway painted units.

9017 and 9022 on the same train, not bad, if only they were in matching paint. Now those units would look good with the Expressway logos on the flanks.

Sunday Night I was ordered for train 500-16, at 0025(12:25am). So I saw the Expressways meet at Quebec St. yard. 122 had 9006 & 9003, while 121 had 6051, 9004 & 9005 for power(first time I have seen three units on the expressway).

On an additional note, I worked the Expressway out of London on Wednesday. Ordered @ 0130 on train 122 to go to Hornby. At 1100 we got on 123 and wen't all the way to Detroit, finally at 2200 we get on 122 again and head back to London. Anyway the point I was getting to here is we were talking to some of the managers at the Hornby terminal. They were saying that the 9000's were put on these trains as a trial. Regulaur freight crews complain about the visibility during switching. As well the expressway pools have a longer run, so the wide nose cab allows a little more breathing room, and aren't as drafty as a regulaur SD40.
