On the last day of the Denver Convention, I found a stack of very old Northeastern N Scale wood railroad Roofs. Guess from the 70's. Bought the whole stack for $1. Tuesday I started my first attempt to use them....Think they are going to be ok. Evergreen plastic fits perfectly in the grooved top portion. Decided on a Frisco wood caboose. Riveted steel bracing I think. This car still exists in Branson, Mo. I think.
The model looks great, Marty. Of course I have no idea if it's anywhere close to a prototype, but who cares...it's BEAUTIFUL!
