    What are the ex Santa Fe GP 50's being used for currently? They've been re-numbered as 3014-38 (I think). Thanks for the input!!! :D :D

    I've seen them in general service. Along with the BN 50s and 59s.

    Around here, there was one used on the local based out of Sherman, and also one or two on the Plano (TX) rock trains.

    Do they have the extended dynamic braking? I can't tell from photos if the right blister is different from the left side. Thanks!

    I believe at least some of them do.

    Also, I used to see them on Garbage train duty with GP59s, 38s and 39M/40M

    Swung by the BNSF (ex-Frisco) yard in Sherman, and lo and behold the 3816 (in blue & yellow) paired up with ex-BN 2960 (a GP39E) for local power.
