Greg, All I can tell you is that it was built in 1973 by International. It has a new number and I can't trace it. all of these cabooses went to Soo and two are unknown.

Very interesting. I thought the Soo Line had removed, and retired all of these from any service. Including M-O-W. So how did it end up still in use on WC?

    Andy-

As far as I am aware, all the Milw caboose numberings done in the 1970's, can be checked backwards to their original numbers by removing the "99" and replacing with a single "0." Can't recall right now, but seems the renumbers were late 1974. Coincidental to the Diesel renumberings.

I do remember that by the time we built the two E/V cabooses, the 99xxxx use was already in place. That was March-April of 1975.

Boxcab, I had the numbers switched around thats why it came out like it did. The second post is correct according to Jeff Kehoe's steel caboose book.
