Took this pic in the Gare du Nord, Paris, just after getting off the train. On-time service and very comfortable. (Date: Nov 11, 2002)

Thanks Pierce, they are beautiful trains, but I STILL have not ridden one!

Next year we plan on having a weekend break by Eurostar in Brussels. (There are plenty of trains there to photograph) :D

It's a very impressive bridge from the pics in the magazines. And incredible grades to match the parrallel motorway down the hills each side to match it! [IMG]

BTW, Love your logo Gats! [IMG]

Picture taken in York, showing a Eurostar set on lease to GNER, with a more usual GNER train led by a class 91 electric on the left.

Most (all?) of the GNER lease ones are now in the GNER blue & orange scheme.

I saw one unrepainted one several weeks ago Martyn, but I think it was the last, and it may have been defaced by dark blue (stealth) paint by now :(

I also like your cool logo Gary, but you should really have a TC&W one, or at least SOO :D

Martyn, all three bridges are impressive (and currently a right royal pain in the you know where on the M2!)

The grades aren't too bad on the railway. There's a tunnel less than a mile from the south end of the bridge cutting through the hill.

Yeah, I guess a TC&W or Soo logo would be more fitting but I just couldn't resist! [IMG] [IMG]
