Nice, from the days before OCS(Occupancy Control/Manual Block System). These days the Dayliner is referred to in the OCS Clearance and on the radio by the lead unit only. Rather than No.199 or 198 Engine VIA 61xx, it's simply referred to as "VIA 61xx north (or south)", sometimes it'll be referred to as "Passenger VIA 61xx north(or south)". BTW, interesting story as to why E&N trains no.1 and 2 were renumbered 199 and 198. When CP moved the dispatchers for the E&N to Vancouver, the E&N trains 1 and 2 conflicted with CP trains 1 and 2, so the E&N passenger trains were renumbered 199 and 198. [ 26.
