I was wondering what type of RS2s did the EL have in the G/M/Y scheme?
Where they friction or roller bearing trucks?
Air cooled or water cooled stack?
If I were to custom paint an N scale Kato unit, which one would I look for?
Last question, any good custom painters on this forum that are looking for some work?
    Thanks to all!

Rick, I don't know which stack is which, but all of the photos of RS-2s have the stack that is across the hood, not with the hood. All of them seem to have roller bearings and dual seal beam headlights. One other note is that they were steam generator equipped for passenger service. 5 of the freight units were changed to passenger units, so they did have freight RS-2s. The link that Ken put up shows most of the units in both GMY and B-Y. All of these EL units came from the ERIE.

I'm a custom painter and I do some detail work as well. I did and Erie RS-2 from a Kato loco and I am pretty sure it was roller bearings and water cooled. Life-like just did a nice run of EL rs-2's. Try this link for a prototype photo.
