I have a problem with the lights on a conversion. I installed a Digitrax DZ123PS in a Bachmann engine. I modified the light board for the lights. The Kathods of the leds were both wired to the blue lead from the decoder, and the white and yellow leads each through a 270 ohm res to the Anodes of the front and rear leds. I am using a Bachmann EZ DCC. They are turned on properly, but I must have something wired wrong. Thanks Santa Fe 834
Reverse the LEDs. The blue lead is + and connects to the Anodes (The back end of the arrow on the schematic).
Thanks Doug. I was wonderering if there was a + and _ leads. Well I think I may have a bad decoder. the rear light works normal but the front is on all the time. I guess that isnt bad, at least the rear light comes on when in reverse. Bruce (Santa Fe 834)
