Engine Growl

    I just received my BNSF 8-40bw. She looks awesome. I have one problem though, when I run the engine it makes a fair amount of noise. Sounds like the gears to me. How do I get the noise to stop? I have no idea how to lubricate an engine.....Mike

    I have had the same problem.I haven't had time to figure it out yet.I did email Atlas and they told me to return it to the dealer.I have no idea why I couldn't just send the engine off to them,but they didn't want to do it.

    I wrote them last night, and they told me to just send them the engine right away.

    Hey,
    Try,maybe doing the what they do with the GP-40's.There was an artical in N Scale about it recently.Mike :D
