Try: http://www.unionpacific.com or: http://www.bnsf.com You will find tags for "jobs" or "career" there. Good luck.
There are probably some differences in requisites. You'd certainly have to requalify as a locomotive engineer. For passenger service, all there will be is Amtrak. As Bill has suggested, check the company web sites. All the major companies, and many of the smaller ones have pages, and might show employment opportunities. One thing to note- For the major companies, expect to locate where they need you. And move a few times. You'll likely be away from home for many long hours, or a couple of days at a time. That can be stressful if you have a family. Good luck! Boxcab E50
