I have received this excellent shell the other day. For those who would like to know how to power this fine looking shell here is my suggestion: Start with an Atlas SD35 mechanism. I have tried some of the recommendations, but the wheel centers are to short. Change the trucks on the SD35 to Atlas GP40/40-2. Shim around the front, back and sides and it should be an almost perfect fit. The only modification to the frame might need to be sanding down the fuel tank area about a 2/16th of an inch. Just another suggestion. The new Life Like BL2 has almost identical truck spacing, I have used it to repower F40s. It has the added benefit of being wide enough to fill the shell and weighs more than most mechs. John

I got to see this shell today at my local hobby shop and all I can say is WOW!!! The guy that made the original is very talented. I was very impressed with the quality of this and I am going to have to do a surfliner set now. WOW is all I can say.....
