I have a couple elevated spurs on the layout I'm building and I just realized I have no idea of what kind of industry would use them. Can anyone help give me some ideas and would these spurs be used for receiving or delivery or both?.
Generally the type of industry that gets stuff in bottom-dump hoppers. And railroad fuel coal facilities in the steam era. I can't think of anyone that raised cars to load them. Just to dump them.
