All work and no play makes restoration workers dull boys (and girls). The Friends of the EBT work crew is the most functional (in difference to dysfunctional) railroad group I have ever had the privilege to work with. They can both rip through a large project with vigor or lay back and make a joke about how "standard gauge" trains just aren't proportioned right. In 50 years the FEBT name may well reappear on this hopper, forcing restoration crews of the era to "recreate an historic attribute". Although a bit of lightheartedness in a tough rehabilitation process, this message also reminds us that volunteer work is supposed to be enjoyable at the end of the day. Come join us for a day or a weekend and help preserve America's oldest narrow gauge. Feel free to visit the report on our March session at this URL: http://www.febt.org/Restore/RF/0503.html
Great to see your wonderful work! Think I'll get out my EBT book, for a fun evening of browsing pages. Boxcab E50
