By accident???? I was looking @ E-bay USAT that were up for auction and seen about 5 beer reefers that were stated to be Charles Ro I did a search and came up with a auction house that Had all of these listed,It didn't give stock #'s but gave me a start to try and find more info about the early years. The Moosehead beer cars are more recent and are still avilable. It just boogles the mind but atleast with a partial list it is a start for info about what is out there to look for or maybe somewhere down the road some others would be interested in this thread of listing also. If you find other info about these or other cars produce even stock #'s lets add to the listings. It would be nice if Charles RO or USAT at a database of what was produced in what year like kadee/Micro-trains has on their web site for N scale cars they produced.

Route 66 I would just like to add that the stock #R16432 and stock #17028 are probably USA trains instead of Charles RO since how the rule of thumb USA trains used 5 digit part numbers like #R16432 and Charles RO used 4 digit part numbers such as R1600 for example. But of course there was some part Charles RO part numbers that continue on due to stock quantities when USA trains came to be. Today, only the USA work train series that I'm aware of still uses the old Charles RO part numbers

R16330 Geary's Pale Ale D.L. Geary Brewing Company Portland Maine Is available directly from USA Trains. Item Shown as still in stock. May also be available from your local hobby shop.
Route 66 Excellent find, this is nice to see the old Charles RO trains. I bet that Preston would be a big collectible, especially since they are out of buisness. I had a Consolidated Freightways piggyback, but sold it when I lost interest in flat cars, then I saw a article on a dedicated flat car train and liked it, but now can't find that piggyback. Live and learn.

Coming from many long years in N scale, there is something I wondering about "G". One thing that helped immensely in growing N, was in it's earlier days, we were lucky enough to have some mail order retailers who offered significant discounts. This was a big boost to participation. Looking at these reefers, I am wondering of outlets from which people could stretch their dollars. Boxcab E50
