When they gave them wings. Ahh...just a knee jerk reaction. Santa Fe added the foils and headlight shortly after delivery when shopped for numerous problems. One of them being the radiators would freeze up during the winter and they were to small to handle the heat, overheating during the summer. Seemed they needed more water stops, then the stoves. Well...a slight exaggeration but not to far off the mark. Precise time...I really don't know but there are several books out there written to document such incidents. Cindy Priest, I believe covers the subject and does so accurately.
