I realized it has been several weeks since I asked a dumb question, and not wanting to ruin my reputation here goes. I bought a Digitrax DS52 and everything seems clear except the "wires from the track." This is clear as mud to me. Do I tap into the buss lines, or do I run two wires to the track somehow (same thing?) The turnout wires I get, but don't want to fry anything by not understanding 4&5. As soon as I get an answer I'll start working on dumb question #10.... Thanks smart guys, Doc
Tap into the Bus Lines - Pin 4 and 5 go to the Buss - Rail A is 4 and Rail B is 5 and that has to match with Rail A and B on the Buss. Hope I did not confuse you any worse. Good Luck
Owen, Thank you for the help. I thought that was the right way, but I was not willing to take a flyer. I hate it when I let the smoke out. Doc
I agree with Owen about tapping into the buss lines. There is no need to wire directly to the track. The buss lines supply the power to the track and that's their purpose. Stay cool and run steam....
