I am planning on using one side of the DS52 to control an Kato double slip turnout. I understand I can hook two turnouts to the other side so they throw at once? If they are opposite can I insert the red and black wire opposite so they throw to correctly align? I am going from on main to a sub and using two right hand turnouts.

A Digitrax DS52 stationary decoder can control two turnouts. One turnout can be a Kato double crossover and the second turnout can be any other turnout. The Kato double crossover acts as one turnout.

One set of terminals will thow two turnouts. I have reveresed the wires as you suggested to switch a crossover as you suggested no issues.

Thenks Owen. I thought I had read that you could actually connect four turnouts, two on each side.
