Something I think the Modelers can take away from these Railfan Photo topics is images that they can use in their efforts. To me, the more images the better in all these type topics. Fur us on the Railfan side of the forums, the more the better...
My (now X new girlfriend), went goo goo over these pics as she finaly got an idea of how important the railroads are. I gues the "average" sheltered American does not get to see trains very often any more.
OK, have several more pics uploaded! They're from the last train I saw on Sunday. Couldn't do much more, as it was getting dark and low on gas. Slowly approaching me. Small handfull of auto racks and a lengthy string of COFC stuff. Head end power: Several Evergreen 40 foot containers, several UniGlory containers also. Car also a little way from home!! Lloyd Triestino container(s). Haven't seen them before. Had several on board! More of the Triestino cars: Last shot of the day:
Erie Lackawanna trailer #ELZ 202437. Has seen better days. Used as a grain dust bin way out in Hennesey, Oklahoma. January 1997.
Keith, that's a nice find! That all-green consist may not be pure BN, but solid green is still worth chasing these days!
