looking at installing some digitrax decoders into my kato e5 units and would like someone to confirm that they come with a strip of kapton tape.i also understand nce supplies the same. i can't see my way to purchase a roll of kapton if the decoders come with said tape. i am not installing hundreds ,just a few. any answeres regarding my question would be greatly appeciated. regards&later KEWATIN
Most of my decoders came with apiece of kapton tape but not all so I bought a roll so that I would have it on hand when needed
The recent decoders come with Kapton, some of the older models don't. I bought a roll of tape off of eBay but I hardly use the roll.
