Given all the silent responses, I decided to take a look.

It does not drive bipolar solenoids (e.g. Kato turnouts), so I lost interest quickly. They may have adapters, but those increase the cost of implementation per turnout very quickly.

The BT capability sounds interesting, but I would prefer it integrated into Engine Driver on my phone.

yes Andy that price does go up with those adapters . but you can drive 8 turnouts. with one unit and one dcc address to access.
like i said i was just wandering around the net and saw these things and got curious. i don't think im gunna waste any moola on them.
for everything i would need would be just over $100 bucks.:(

The DR4018 is a better option, The DK50018 has a lot of bell and whistles that you will not need, it uses Bluetooth for theses options.
The DR4018 and DK50018 do all the same configurations.
Using the DR41o1 (Which you get 4 in each package) converts the output to run the Tortoise Switch Machines (Total 8 per DR unit).
Just have to tell the DR to change the out put for stall motors (CV47 = 6) and then program the Switch Machine starting ID number.
Connect to DR4101 between each switch machine and the outputs to the DR and you are done.done.
I use a lot of the DR4018's and a few DR50018's for switch machines, Signals, RR crossing, etc.
