Anybody know a way to print digital images to slides? I've got a bunch of loco shots that I'd like to use as a slide show but I'm too photo challenged to figure out how to make it work. Thanks all.
A couple years ago when digital imaging was just taking off, one entrant in the annual Model Railroader photo contest used a device to output digital images to slides, but I can not remember what it was called...
I found the magazine, it was the 1995 contest, but he didn't mention the machine in that. I know a few months after the contest, probably still in '95, he wrote an article for MR about digital imaging. I don't have the issue handy to know exactly which one, but I know that's where he specified the "gizmo."
October 96 had an article on 'The Digital Darkroom'. Could that be the one? The magazine index site doesn't note the photo contest in the index of articles in any issues of MR in 94, 95, or 96!
I believe that's the article. The photo contest is always in their March issue, so that's probably why it's not indexed.
