HI Folks: My physical model railroad has been stalled for over a year due to a combination of a health issues and lack of money, however I recently discovered a great alternative (no, this is not a joke) https://store.steampowered.com/app/754150/Rolling_Line/ The steam gaming platform has a "game" called Rolling Line that allows you to build and operate a model railroad -- it comes with a lot of content -- it costs about 20.00 USD (one time purchase -- NOT a monthly subscription) and you can create additional content fairly easily -- its got active support and a fairly active user base -- for me it has proved to be a great substitute and may well be for those who dont have money or space etc to build a real model railroad have a great day TIM
For a moment, watching their demo video, I was speechless... That's utterly beautiful! It even has cab views, where one climbs into the cab to operate the train... I am duly impressed...
gotta admit -- im kinda gaga over it right now --and having a LOT of fun -- its also got an active discord community -- -best part of all -- its only 20.00 bux one time purchase -- this is NOT a re-occuring charge thing -- lot cheaper than my real model railroad --
