This build has had tons of ups and downs. It’s definitely been an adventure.

I got a bit more done tonight. All the scenery base work is complete, next up is a couple of trees, stripes on the roads and some building touch up. People and cars will eventually come along… well better cars than what I currently use.

    vacant lot got some details.

This may be a bit late, but: (I was stoopid and didn't page through)

    A) Neat!
    B) Have you checked out Con-Tact brand cork shelf liner. They make self-adhesive cork 1/16 inch thick.
    C) What is the source of your tram? The first one, the two unit articulated, that is.

All my trams that run on this are from Kato. The black and white trams are Kato Unitram/Centram models. The same car body can also be found in the more colorful Portram line. These are modeled after Japanese prototypes. The blue and red trams are the new MyTram models also from Kato. These are generic paint on the Japanese Piccolo/Piccola and LEX tram prototypes. If someone is good with paint, the MyTram models are a pretty close stand in for the Sounder light rail trams that run in Tacoma.

in my collection I also have a Tomix Nuremberg 1000 series tram that I motorized, and a Kato Pocket Tram but those operate way too fast for the current settings of this little layout. I don’t have a speed control device built into this version of the layout so changing the speed isn’t easy.

THANKS! Cleveland's light rapids use a two section articulated that sort of resemble these, with the right paint job, anyway. I'm hoping to start a layout to remind folks of Cleveland (NOT to model it), and it would be nice to work this in.
