Well, after months of planning (trying to make this sound dramatic) my 4x8 sheet of plywood will evolve into the Delaware Lehigh & Northern. Well, the Delaware Lackawana & Northern was an afterthought by me and a friend while we were having a chat. It soon turned into the idea of a fremo club. The Delaware Lehigh & Northern originated in the 1800s and served coal mines from central Pennsylvania to Southern Ohio. As coal dried up in the 50s, DLN changed into a bridge route. The DLN serves many different types of industries. A few of these industry types are papermills, lumber yards, and we still do serve a number of coal mines. As the formation of Conrail the DLN was the end of an era. It was swallowed up by Conrail as so many other railroads were. I'll be modeling the DLN in the 70s. I've ordered four Shinohara Code 70 turnouts. Now I need to order a pack of ME code 70 flex. Here's the paint scheme my friend came up with. You can really tell how he based this off the Delaware & Lackawanna RR's paint scheme. but I still like it. Here's the track plan as well. That's it for now. Updates soon.

You mean Delaware and Hudson, right? Also you post calls your railway "The Delaware Lackawanna & Northern" But the locomotive says "Delaware Lehigh & Northern"
