I'm trying to figure out the parts needed for DCC conversion. Is this a good plan for a consist? Other recommendations? TIA One loco with SDXH166D sound decoder and the non-sound DH166D for loco #2. No keep alive added, except for the small one included for sounds. Is there less need for keep alive capacitors with a consist? Athearn C44-9W HO Trains in Miniature, probably from 2005 +/- (not RTR or DCC ready).
