What is the correct decoder for the Atlas N GP9 Phase II and GP9 TT engines?

I dont think it is... but I'm sure if you emailed Atlas they could tell you for sure - does it say on the box?

It does not say on the box. Ebay has some for sale. The seller says NO DCC. So i wonder if they came dcc ready.

This has been a topic of some contention on the Atlas forum. Atlas's position is it isn't cost-effective for them to re-engineer the frame for these locomotives and still keep their prices competitive. So no, they're not DCC ready.

Of course, any locomotive can be made to take DCC, the only questions are how much time and/or money are involved... [IMG]

    "$10.00 for an Aztec frame"

Do they make one for a
    Atlas GP7 or a RSD4/5?

    Thanks,

    Loco1999:

Send your frames in for the GP 7 and Atlas RSD4/5 and Aztec will send you milled frames for $10/loco.

    Stay cool and run steam.....

Yep they sure do. Check their website. Its $10.00 for each frame.
NOTE: Due to 20 feet of snow in the Sierra Nevada Mtns. your order may be delayed getting there. THEY DONT CALL WINTER "THE STORM KING" UP THERE FOR NOTHING!!.

    Thanks for the info.

    I don't own those locos.

It's nice to hear you can
DCC them if you need to.
