Okay...I just bought a nice Proto 1000 C-liner. So what is the best way to install a decoder in this beastie? Also, did the prototype c-liner have any lighting 'effects' that would need a good decoder to duplicate? (Is there a good reference site out there to look this kind of stuff up? What loco has what lighting and so forth?) Thanks!
DH121 would be the cheapest option...just look at the instructions and cut and solder where it tells you too, but you probably knew that part already I have never seen a PHOTO of a Canadian (CPR) C-Liner with any spiffy lighting effects, but who knows...they may have been used. GL Dane N.
