Hello, The decoder for the E8/9, PA-1, P42 (DN163K0A) will fit, but the LED leads have to be shortened to match the original configuration. I used the original LEDs from the analog circuit board on mine and used the long lead LEDs on another unit. Mark
cool ! thanks forgot to ask...what about a rear led ? is there a chance to solder one to this decoder ? to be honest, i disassembled more than 20 f40ph but i can't remember if there's a light board at the end of the loco. at leas it features headlights. will check tonight.
