I've come across a couple of guys recently that have posted very good information and I would like to broaden this base. I'm sure the rest of our members would like to have a reference library of where to go when they have a question. If you use DCC please post: e-mail or link, scale, brand of DCC, years experience. Here's me. m1919@cshore.com, HO, Lenz 01, <1yr. ------------------ When in doubt, empty your magazine. Member #33
I have been using a Digitrax Chief system for almost 3 years now on my N scale Susquehanna Ontario & Western railroad. You can find some of my experiences with DCC (and more to come) on the traiN'ternet web site : http://www.trainternet.org/. Jean-Louis Simonet (JLS) - simonet@club-internet.fr
I began with a Digitrax Big Boy in '96. Upgraded to a Chief in '98. Some of my experiences are found on my web site. N-Scale ------------------ Keep on Track'N at www.phcomputing.com Harold Riley [This message has been edited by sd75mac (edited 28 August 2000).]
I use two different ones. HO - NCE's system, works great, 1.5 yrs. N - MRC Command 2000 - works for what I need, < 1 yr. ------------------ Corey Lynch VP - Rensselaer Model RR Society NEB&W RR http://www.rpi.edu/~lynchc/Railfanning/railfanning.htm - My Site http://www.union.rpi.edu/railroad/ - NEB&W
I use the MRC system. It suits a smaller railroad and is an easy way to get started. I have found that its a loy eaiser to make prototypical moves like cutting off the helper on the fly, Tripple sawbuys are also eaisly done. And who cant love the way it makes switching eaiser, no worrying about those pesky block limits. I have used this system for the past 2 years and feel it meets my current needs. I will probably go to a digitrax if and when I am able to build that dream layout however.....Mike ------------------ Its only Money !!
Two layouts, both NCE, been using it for about 2 years, one layout is a 3 deck basement railroad that is used for operating sessions, and can take a beating from stranger/operators. Bob Miller

I have been using the Digitrax "Genesis" system for about 2-years in N-Scale. I have installed many decoders. Our club also uses a "Genesis" system on out N-Track modular layout. MOPAC 1
