    Hi there.
Well, I searched for a while but I was not able to find a clear answer to my question.
    What are CAB register for?
As I understand it, if I'm running more than one loco on my lauout, each cab should be defined by a different register in order to work correctly.
At the beginning I was trying to run some CABs using the same register, since I haven't found a detailed description on this item and how to use it, but after a while everithing was messed up. One loco was stopped, the current one was working, and so on...
So, if someone could take a little time to clarify/explain this I'll be glad.
    Thanks in advance, as always.

As I understand it the system can by default hold a list of 12 locos (registers). When you send a loco command to the DCC++ controller, it is stored in one of the 12 registers. The DCC++ controller loops round the 12 registers and repeatedly sends each register contents to the track. Therefore even if the loco temporarily loses connection to the track, because the DCC++ controller repeats the commands the loco will continue as it was before.

If you send a speed command to a loco and then a speed command to a 2nd loco using the same register number, although both locos will appear to work, the first loco will no longer get it's repeating command (because its been over written), so if it loses connection, it will not continue after it regains connection.

I think that's basically how it works....

    Thank Jim for the replay.
Now it is clear to me the behaviour of my locos when using only one register.
    Thanks again
