How good (or not good) are LBG engines equipped with DCC. I have done a lot of N Scale DCC but nothing with my outside RR.
    Comments!!!

The LGB boys seem to use radio control much more with their G toys rather than DCC. All the G trains I have run have been with radio control.

Thanks for the reply. The train games should nearly be the same. You are right, all the LGB seem to use remote control. The engine that is used in my G LBG is so nice and well controlled with its power supply I just thought it might make it (easier?) if it were DCC. Right now there is only one 2-4-0 on the track (unfinished), but will grow as did the N Scale.

Not sure if you are outdoors with this, but George's LS Tips should be of interest anyway.
    This is his site address:
    The Large Scale Trains Page

When you get there, take the link to "Large Scale Trains Technical Tips" and then look for "DCC Tips" which is in the Power area.

    Mike:
That is a very interesting site...I can see that I will pend quite a few hours there. I am new to G scale, but very xperienced in N. Both in DC and DCC and remote control.
Thanks very much for guiding to this site.

I used to be a #1/G-scaler, which is how I come to know George's site. There is a lot there, and quite a bit is valid in other scales. There is a link to an old project of mine buried in the depths too [IMG] (Under R/C).
