Sorry no one has answered you yet. Yes, we have been using the 2.0 IDE since it was in beta testing for over a year now. It works just fine. The old version is a bit simpler, but the new version adds some things that make it more like the kind of development environment programmers are used to.
We are still testing since the 2.0 idea has a different way of loading files and is very slow the first time it loads a project with a lot of files. It also compiles a bit differently in terms of memory. It works, but we will keep you posted.
