went to Danbury for the first time today and had a blast.. it was better than the museum down in Strasburg... took some great pics and the weather was great!!!
I never made it today as my son was sick. Perhaps we can meet up there on another occasion. As you may not know, TB's own moderator, Peirce ,volunteers up there. If you should ever meet up with him, he will give you a history of the yard like no one else can. Happy railroading! Russ
wonder if he was there.. but my father & I had a good time,, the pictures came out great.. the turntable was great.. we did the caboose ride... there were some relics there.. and the walk inside the E unit was awesome...
No, I was not at the DRM for that event. I was just ending my vacation to the Midwest. Details and pictures will be posted later. Briefly, my wife, Janet, and I visited two rail museums, one other with some rail exhibits, two car museums, three zoos, attended a class reunion, visited relatives, and had stays in 6 states.
