been doing some painting and detailing. hope you like the results. i'm now working on making an F7 shell into an FT. hope to do a B unit with it soon (as soon as i can afford another "B" unit!). more to come, but that's it for now. dave f.
All your F's look nice. I want to build a pair of FT's also, as NP had them. They were always drawbared in pairs on the NP though, and during their heyday, only ran as ABBA sets, but later they were broken up into an AB pair with an F3,7, or 9 to make an ABA set. Your modeling efforts are truely an inspiration. -Robert
The paint job on those F-7's look great. The kitbash of the FT, one of my favorite diesel loco's is fantastic. Stay cool and run steam....
I received my undec GP35 last week and I have began to kitbash a GP39. So far, I have deleted the smaller fan and move the larger fan back to its proper place. I also drilled out the fans to accept the new BLMA open top fans, and added a filter box just about the front grills. Din't go to sleep until 3 a.m. The GP39 will be the third engine to the CSX empire.
