I gotta tell you, my favorite part of custom painting is "the reveal" - when your project is all masked up and you don't know what you're going to get until you pull off all the tape - then voila! What could be inside this Scotch Tape Cocoon?? Hmmm... let's lift up some of this masking!! What is that, a German ICE coach of some kind? Love those crisp lines! Nah! A mostly forgotten all 70's era American train! A couple finishing touches - and woo hoo!! That was fun!! More details needed but I wanted to share before the week begins... -Mike
I would have to agree. There's nothing like pealing back the tape to see what you've got. I't almost as good as being a kid on Christmas morning. I have recently done some passenger equipment so I can relate whole heartedly. I really like the way your two tone red turned out, that must have been tricky to figure out.
