Tell me what you folks think! I recieved 130+ hits in one night! Wow! Not only it looks cool, it pulls HARD. I ran it last night, behind the TigerMAC, and a consist of 16 autoracks, and one set of the new DI BN twinstacks, with loaded containers and a Walthers container doublestack 5-unit set. They pulled them thru the reverse curves of the High Prairie Sub without breaking a sweat!
Great looking beasts! I can see them pulling a nice long coal drag....that would be greatness. You've done an awesome job at giving us a look at what could have been on the BN. Someday I hope to attempt a fantasy MKT scheme for a 70MAC. (See the MKT forum for one member's rendition of the scheme)
Jerry, lookin good! That paint scheme just looks right on that 80, and it looks a lot better than a Conrail or NS paint scheme Hey how about an 80 in Grinstein green?
MEC, It's coming soon, awaiting paint! I had to order the 70MAC decals from Mircoscale, as no one else could get 'em. Another Whiteface MAC is coming soon, awaiting decals and time.
Ok, OK, this is not a SD80/90MAC, but it is custom painted by me, and again, it's BN! This is my rendition of BN 8002, the only Tigerstriped SD40-2 on the roster. I have recreated it using proto photos as a reference, from the BN photo archives . The uploaded pics are shown on webshots, in the custom MACs folder. N joy!
