A new company has been appointed to manage the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad in southern Colorado and northern New Mexico. The railroad commission earlier this month approved an agreement with C&TS Management Corp. to run the narrow-gauge railroad for the 2006 season. C&TS replaces the Rio Grande Railway Preservation Corp., which pulled out last year. This year it will operate from May 27 to Oct. 15.
