While in Rocky Mount, NC this morning, I got to see the CSXT 9478 remote control car in operation. As luck would have it, the batteries in my camera failed me. It's a strange looking thing. Do you have a shot of it Chessie?
Yes, I have several shots of that unit... it is a remote control platform that can be coupled to any loco to allow remote control operation. Not too long ago, they wereusing an ex-BNSF SD40-2 coupled to it in Rocky MOunt. Harold
The local out of the Painesville, OH yard often has one, but have never seen it used. I've also seen a few of them up in Detroit's Miller Yard.
