Looks nice. Lots of paint shop work there. NC&StL looks good too; it's CSX's 19th. So far we have these: Atlantic Coast Line Baltimore & Ohio Chesapeake & Ohio Chessie System Chicago & Eastern Illinois Conrail Family Lines System Georgia Railroad Louisville & Nashville Monon Nashville Chattanooga & St. Louis New York Central Pere Marquette Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Richmond Fredericksburg & Potomac Seaboard Air Line Seaboard Coast Line Seaboard System Western Maryland
The Clinchfield unit is just out of Waycross. It's said that CSX will release one more, the 1981 in PanAm.
Several CSX predecessors that have yet to be done: Atlanta & West Point, Gainesville Midland, Winston Salem Southbound. Lest we overlook it, Penn Central was a predecessor of ConRail with PRR being a predecessor to PC.
If following Conrail family, then we might need Reading, CNJ and..... But then we need to look at how NS and CSX split up CR. Argh. Western Railway of Alabama? Durham & Southern RY? I am a bit confused seeing Chicago & Eastern Illinois listed. I thought that company went into (October, 1976) the Missouri Pacific, which MP then went into Union Pacific. I know the C&EI operated a passenger train in conjunction with the L&N. When did CSX or predecessor acquire it?
C&EI was split between UP & SBD - SBD got the Eastern leg from Chicago to Evansville and UP got the Western leg to St. Louis and trackage rights into Chicago over the line from Woodland, IL
