I had asked if the GP60's had been repainted, but can't find any pics (yet). It is interesting to note from these I found on the CSX photos web site: This unit was renumbered with white numbers, whereas most others have the "yellow/orange". Is anyone else seeing white renumberings being done? Chessie ------------------ Harold Hodnett Fan of NS, CSX, and their predecessors! Here's a shot of the "class unit"... (the first of the big three they now own ) again from the CSX photo archives: Chessie ------------------ Harold Hodnett Fan of NS, CSX, and their predecessors! Coming soon: The North Carolina Railfan Web Site http://www.trainweb.org/ncrail/
For those of you who might be interested, here is a photo from my website of the CSX GP60's from 1986 when they were doing their original EMD Demonstrator duties. ------------------ Kevin Stevens www.trainweb.org/KernJunction [This message has been edited by Kevin Stevens (edited 08 December 2000).]

On that first photo (6899), is it an optical illusion, or is the walkway badly bent (where the guy is standing). He does not look that heavy ------------------ Alan Curtis. Moderator.
