I know that CSX had F7s and now F40s for executive service but I've never seen any pictures of executive service rolling stock. Conrail had E8s with matching passenger cars, so what does CSX use and does anybody have pictures? Thanks, Bob [ 04 May 2002, 15:56: Message edited by: bobcat ]
Good Question Bob. I've been looking for the Executive Fleet myself also since the CR breakup ... 't'ain't been by here for damsure ...
I can get you a few pictures of the F-40's from an online source thats not my own that I know of the pictures being their... I'll go get them and bring them and the link to them plus the entire site link for your viewing enjoyment!

Bob, thanks very much! That is a fantastic CSX photo site. Does anyone live near or get by Jacksonville, FL? I think that's where the CSX Exec Fleet is homeported on its private siding next to the Dispatch Center. Maybe someone could go by and get some photos ... Heres one of the 2 pictures I know of the CSX F-40's... I know I shouldn't post the picture as an image but I am anyway, its not my picture or anything it comes out of www.northeast.railfan.net's links in their site. Hank, Thats why I posted the picture instead of just the link, but I also gave the link to where they are and also told everyone to go visit as well.... On your comment I also like the way they look! I can't imagine them all blue with the yellow nose and side sill stripe and yell "CSX" letters.... Their body style just isn't for the all blue and yellow nose and side stripe! Thats forsure!....
CSX uses 2 F40-PH2 units. I will post the pictures soon. I have been to dinner on the train twice and have pictures of many of the cars insides. Best Money I ever spent, except on my Lionel C&O engines.
