Cleveland Subdivision Bridge demolition at Fulton Ave. in Cleveland. The Fulton Ave. bridge was blown but only the section over the CSX tracks. The rest of the span still stands as they had some problems with the wiring of the explosives. Only in Cleveland can they screw up a bridge demolition...
Fulton Ave bridge doesn't ring any bells to me. The B&O had 3 drawbidges on the route from Clark Ave to the intechange with NYC/CR at Whiskey Island.....Bridge 460 at the North end of Clark Ave yard and Bridges 463 and 464 as one approaced Whiskey Island....is Fulton Ave one of these 3 or is it one of the former ConRail bridges?
Fulton Rd. bridge is a concrete arch bridge over the Cleveland Zoo. It was in bad shape and has to be demolished. Drove by there on Saturday from I-71 and it looked pretty bad. (Gap toothed could be the operative word here.) Fulton Rd. Bridge, Google Sattelite
