I have a GE4000CW which I am intending to modify into a CSX AC6000CW and decal it into that classic YN2 scheme with the blue lined yellow 'CSX' lettering on the longhood. Does any one know if these YN2 CSX decals are available and if so, who produces them? I'm guessing that because the 6000CW has not been produced in mass plastic, that there is little call for such decals making them a tad difficult to track down.
I see Microscale makes them in HO, 87-1149 but not N. I was going to suggest using the CSX in the coalporter sets as they are yellow with a thin blue outline, however the font is somewhat thicker.
Yes, I have looked hard and long at the coal porter decal but still hoping to locate an AC6000CW specific set. Even tossing the idea of painting the CSX onto the side, but that thin blue outline does not look real inviting!
