Well, Its been a while since I've been able to update you all on my RR. Been working out of town ...anyway, as many of you know, the HO scale Colorado and Southwestern has gone by the way side, and a new layout is in the works. This one will be built by me and my 4-year-old who decided that he wanted N scale !! It will be a shelf type layout in our garage with a foam base divided into 2 by 4 foot modules (yes I learned my lesson when I moved the CSW!!). The layout will be set in 1962, but because it is a branch of the Santa FE, most of the motive power and rolling stock will be back-dated. The layout is a rebuild of an N-scale layout I built many years ago. The setting will be in the American southwest (mesas are easier to build than mountains !!). Hopefully we will start construction this month...I will keep you all updated! Happy Modeling!!
