    Well,
Its been a while since I've been able to update you all on my RR. Been working out of town [IMG]...anyway, as many of you know, the HO scale Colorado and Southwestern has gone by the way side, and a new layout is in the works. This one will be built by me and my 4-year-old who decided that he wanted N scale [IMG] !! It will be a shelf type layout in our garage with a foam base divided into 2 by 4 foot modules (yes I learned my lesson when I moved the CSW!!). The layout will be set in 1962, but because it is a branch of the Santa FE, most of the motive power and rolling stock will be back-dated. The layout is a rebuild of an N-scale layout I built many years ago. The setting will be in the American southwest (mesas are easier to build than mountains [IMG]!!). Hopefully we will start construction this month...I will keep you all updated! Happy Modeling!!

Thanks for the support!! It is always difficult to give up a layout, but starting a new one is of course really exciting. Hey Friscobob, any ideas on how to make a good N scale juniper tree?? Thanks and Happy Modeling!!
