Last week, my Railimages gallery started showing up re-sorted. The sorting is, I think, by File Name, but that ends up being completely random from my perspective. I've got hundreds of photos, and I like to used them to illustrate posts I make. I actually maintain a spreadsheet with all the photos, and I've come up with cell formulas to tell me what page the photos should be on.

Now, that doesn't work. I can re-sort the photos, but the order always goes back to that new "Filename" preference. To find a picture, I have to go select a couple of fields and put the ordering back to what I'm used to.

Does anyone else find the new order less than satisfactory? Is there a way I can get it back to the way I like it and lock it there? Thanks.

In the tool bar down from all the header info on the Railimage page, I click on "My Albums". For each album you can select [Sort Photos]. You can then assign each photo a number anywhere from 1 to 999. Then they are displayed in number order. I usually leave sizable gaps in the numbering so I can insert later photos where I want.
