CAN ANYONE TELL ME OF A SYSTEM THAT WOULD CONTROL SEVERAL CROSSING LOCATIONS AND TUNNEL ENTRANCES IN ONE SET OF CONTROLS OR PRINTED CIRCUIT CARDS? ALSO LOOKING FOR CATALOGS AND WIRING TECHNIQUES.

Belge, would the same wireing you use for controlling a room light from light switches at the entrance and exit of a room work for what you want? When the train passes the first road, it would turn on the next, and the next, etc, each one that turns "on" would turn "off" the preeceeding one? Same for at tunnel.

Call: 972-323-2200 Optek Technologies, Inc. and ask for their catalog of electronic components. (Its about an inch thick. Covers all kinds of leds, detectors, proximity and light emitting switches, some with flags etc. They make lots of things for PC Board use, as well as can design and furnish PC Boards too, in quantity. They also make all sorts of optical detecting devices.

I've purchased several crossing and power reverse circuits form my local hobby or train shop. The manufacturer was "Circuitron Inc." from Riverside, Ill. (fax: 815-886-9076)

Here is a Internet site that's a good place to start, with home made ideas and links to other sites.
