Looking for Steam info. It looks like the 4-6-2 was the predominant power on the Crescent, but were any other steam used regularly? Thanks
Wow, that's a great question and I'm uncertain. The SOU fielded Class Ts 4-8-2s that were used in passenger service and perhaps these were used on the Crescent Limited at times, but I don't think it would have been common. I'm curious as to what others think. But, as you know, the Ps-4s were synonymous with the Crescent. In N Scale, I think Arnold's old 4-6-2s are modeled after the Ps-4.
